Default For those feeling low energy during Phase 1...

I've read a few posts from members feeling low energy and headaches. I began with a Phase One "trifecta" of going cold turkey on sugar, starch and caffeine!

Try taking potassium supplements. I was eating bananas regulary until I started the SB Diet. The supplements really helped to boost energy and get me through Phase 1.

I haven't had a headache or low energy episode since.

Hi Sandy,

I do take a multivitamin and calcium supplement in addition to the potassium. I was glad when those Phase I withdrawal symptoms went away, too!

Congrats on your losses, and with reaching Phase II (that's where I'm at, too and trying to keep the complex carb servings at one per day).

Best of luck!

I started SB today...and so far - I have plenty of energy - I'm just adjusting to the hunger. I used to not eat breakfast - or just have juice...and now that I'm eating...I'm hungry. I can tell you that I know its the right thing...but after years of dieting...it seems SO wrong...

I'm taking 2 Vitamin E, 1 multivitamin, 1 B-Complex and 2 "Very Green" supplements...and they seem to be working so far.

Hi, no problem with energy here. but i exercise. i think if you exercise that it builds up energy. does for me anyhows. maybe if you are exercising and its still happening just add little bit more to the exercise.. this is my 8th day. i miss my fruit most of all.. but sticking with it. i do get off once in awhile. seems its in the hands and mouth and then i say oh that was a NO NO> lol oh wel figured if i stick to it most of time and still losing that is what counts. so good luck to all of you.
