Getting the South Beach Book
 

The book contains much more information than we can share here.

It can be bought at any local bookseller or discount store. I bought mine at WalMart for $17.47.

Online choices:

Buy.com currently has it for $15.71 with free shipping (no minimum purchase, but they don't always offer the free shipping option)

Amazon.com has it for $14.97. Shipping is free with a minimum purchase of $25, so you might want to pick up a cookbook while you are at it.

I bought mine at Chapter's for a whopping 35 bucks Canadian. Worth every penny. :D

I ordered mine through Amazon. They're usually quick but I checked today and they said expect it at the end of next week. :(

Susan, most of the time I order from Amazon, my order arrives well before the due date. Maybe your's will come early!

Paid 35 bucks Canadian here. I thought free trade was supposed to reduce prices for us. I really do think it was worth the money.

I'm waiting for mine - bought it at buy.com with free shipping BUT the free ship means they use media mail which takes 10 days or so. Ahhh, there's always somekind of trade-off, eh?

Anyway, it's good to have something to look forward to (trying for the positive spin).

I just bought the book from overstock.com- 13.99+1.40 (shipping)= 15.39

My book came from buy.com yesterday! It only took three days even though they sent it media mail. Pretty impressive... I'm psyched and now that I'm on Day 5, I'm really energized and in a very sunny mood, y'all.

Hi Everyone, I'm new to this board, my name is Shari. I am just getting started on the South Beach plan.

I recently purchased the So Beach Diet book at Vitamin Shoppe for 12.50! If you have one in your area you can get it in the store or you can go to their web site and get it for same price.

Ordered my book yesterday!
 

Yup, I have been doing some research on the South Beach diet and ordered the book through Amazon. It looks doable.
