Bake Sale

  • At work they are having a bake sale to raise money for the United Way.

I plan on bring homemade dog biscuits for sure, but I would like to make a SB treat. Is there one that I could make for a bake sale, I know people would try it - because I know people get sick of sweet (and believe me, there will be lots of that kind of stuff there!)

Any suggestions. It would need to be something that can be wrapped seperately for selling.
  • I suggest making Kara's version of the Black Bean Brownies. Most people are amazed by how good they are and the fact that they're actually good for them. But make sure you let everyone know they contain artificial sugars, since some people can't tolerate it.

If you have a way of keeping it chilled, another delicious treat to make is a chocolate or strawberry mousse pie. For the chocolate, fold a 16 oz. carton of SF Cool Whip into 2 cups of prepared SF pudding and spoon it into a ww pie crust. For the strawberry version, fold the SF Cool Whip into 2 cups of nonfat strawberry yogurt and spoon into the pie shell.
  • For a staff breakfast a few years ago I made the "nessa" bars and the ww muffins and both were a big hit!
  • Thank you wonderlin, I have a batch of the nessa bars in the oven right now. These sound great, I am not a fan of anything made to be SF, I would rather use natural sugar, limit intake or go without.

    They smell wonderful baking. Hmmmmmmmmmmmm
