Default Back to the beach :)

I haven't been around here in forever, the "good" news is I'm only a few pounds up from my lowest weight recorded here (I just updated it).

Anyways, I've been doing greek yogurt and the special K protein cereal each morning, and I know that's not the best cereal to be eating on this program, SOOO once this box is done I'm switching to something more appropriate? Any suggestions on approved cereals that are similar? I don't want those kashi cereals with the puffs and twigs because I want to continue eating my greek yogurt AND I have had kashi cereals before and TBH some of them feel like they are going to break my teeth!

Thanks!

Hey, Bee Sorry I can't help with this; I don't eat cereal anymore. It's a red light food for me.

Welcome back! I'm no help with the cereals as I don't eat them. My breakfast is always a green smoothie. I find I always overeat cereals....
At one point I did give a try and just did my own label reading, especially at WhFoods.

Thanks all! Eating cereal is just quick and easy for me in the morning with my greek yogurt- I eat breakfast at work too so I prefer to do that. I would do smoothies but my family would kill me in the morning lol!

I used to cook eggs too and then warm them up, but right now I'm on a greek yogurt kick.

I bought "Nature's Path Flax Plus" which is only 5 grams of fiber, but 4 grams of sugar, so I think that's much better than my special K. The special K cereal was only 3 grams of fiber and had 7 grams of sugar, but it was 10 grams of protein. THOUGH I guess with the greek yogurt I'm doing okay on protein because 1 cup has 20 grams of protein

Weekends is when I usually do my eggs with veggies, so I don't feel like the cereal makes me crave other carbs.

Anyways, thanks all!

WaistingTime and Lexxiss, I was relieved to read your posts and find that I'm not the only one who can't have cereal in her house. Especially SpecialK. Yum.

Beerab, one thought, have you tried Greek yogurt with 14 walnut halves for breakfast? It's filling and crunchier than cereal! :-) Welcome back!!

I am not on any plan. I eat cereal every morning. I don't eat a healthy one. On days when I know I will have more carbs I have 2 egs instead. And those days are when I am the hungriest. I can go much longer without craving junk with cereal. Is that odd?
