I want to try every one of these recipes! I hope folks will post their reviews.
I found the sale at Aldi, they were actually $1.09. Not huge heads, but still a good deal. I hope they still have some when I go back this week. I think we've got several different versions of creamed spinach if you do a search in our recipes section. My favorite is the same as Cyndi's, the Alfredo, but they are all good. |
Cauliflower Pepperoni Bread STicks

We enjoy this a lot.....
Cauliflower Pepperoni Breadsticks- from the gal that invented the cauliflower pizza crust this can be made ahead and frozen Full of Italian flavor The cheese and cauliflower crust set up beautifully when allowed to cool, forming a tasty, hand-holdable crust (especially the next day) that also lends itself to bread sticks and other recipes on this site. Serves 8 1 cupriced, fresh cauliflower (not cooked) 1 egg 1 cup mozzarella cheese 10 slices pepperoni, chopped 1/2 tsp fennel 1 tsp oregano 2 tsp parsley mozzarella cheese garlic salt 1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit. 2.Combine all ingredients in a bowl. In a greased casserole dish, press about 1-1/2″ deep cauliflower pizza dough. 3. Bake at 350 for 20-30 minutes, or until set. 4. With a spatula loosen the dough around the edges carefully, and remove the square of dough to a greased cookie sheet. 5. With a pizza cutter, slice strips through the set dough ( slice along the width and not the length for normal bread sticks). 6. Separate slightly. Sprinkle with garlic salt and/or extra mozzarella cheese. 7. Bake at 450 degrees until the top browns. Once the oven is preheated to 450 degrees, it is easy to pop in a couple of pizza crusts as well. Serve with marinara sauce (optional). SERVES: 8 NOTES: Crust can be frozen without the toppings after the first baking. Simply thaw, top and then bake for 12-15 minutes in a 425 degree Fahrenheit oven. Crust can be doubled, but extend baking time. Such great ideas! The buffalo cauliflower sounds amazing. And the cauliflower alfredo. Yum.
I also make the cauliflower crust pizza. I make cauliflower fried rice and cauliflower couscous. I grate it into pancakes (not bad if you steam the riced cauliflower first). I sneak it, pureed, into pasta sauces. I think all these ideas have come from 3fc. Also  roasted cauliflower. Here's my favorite recipe (w/ addictive lemon-tahini sauce). I have been wanting for a while to try these cauliflower fritters. Also here is an odd recipe for "Poor Man's Shrimp Cocktail" that I might make for my vegan friends some day. Thanks for all the suggestions... |
I love cauliflower - smashed, and Aloo Gobi is a favorite and I sub cauliflower for the potatoes!!!!

I also love cauliflower roasted. It is so filling and satisfies chip cravings. After a hard workout I get a half a cup of roasted cauliflower and I am satisfied. I read somewhere that vegs are a natural appetite suppressant.
I LOVE the idea of a veg thread, looking forward to trying new veggies |
