How many grains & fruit can you eat daily on phase 2 week 1 and so on???

It all depends on your body and how you respond. Search for threads called phase 1.5.

Usually, people try one fruit once a day for a week and see how the body responds. Then add a grain.

I can only do 2-3 servings a day without gaining. But each person is different. And, I know I can't eat certain things in the morning or I will crave all day (usually fruit). But I wouldn't have learned that if I didn't test the waters.

In the book it says that you should add one portion of fruit and one portion of starches for the first week after P1. Then gradually (over another week) increase to 3 portions of fruit and 3 starches. If you google phase 2 foods to reintroduce I am sure you'll find a list with quantities.

But as Jenne has said - I guess everyone reacts differently to certain foods (at certain times) so it's probably a bit of trial and error. I for instance know from other times when I've dieted that I loose less or no weight when I eat too many starches for dinner.
