I lost 20lbs a couple of years ago on South Beach, but recently my weight has been sneaking on up again. Too much celebrating and eating out, I think! I've also been reading a lot about primal/paleo diets and although I do think the science behind them is sound, it's always been easier for me to drop weight when I focus on limiting fats. South Beach is such a comfort because I always know it will work and it takes a lot of the second guessing out of eating.
Going to do a clean, 2 week long Phase 1 starting tomorrow with the hope of getting down to 135 at the end of 2 weeks (-10lbs). Once I get to 135, I'm going to buy myself a Garmin forerunner! https://buy.garmin.com/shop/shop.do?cID=142&pID=107143
