Tonight is the first ever dinner out for the gals (and significant others) from my store. I'm a bit worried about my husband, who seems to sometimes be missing a filter and/or tact, letting slip some of the stuff I've shared to him about work. So I am wisely not telling him yet about the gal who just got a boob job so he doesn't have to try not to stare at her chest all night!

Trying to figure out my trips back to PA for my son's graduation and May and official move in June. Having a job has made it more complicated since I need to plan ahead to ask for time off and I feel rather guilty taking of so much time in my first months. Not to mention that, unlike his over-planning mom, my son is rather a procrastinator about figuring this all out. Sigh.

OK! Me time has just officially begun. I avoided all the temptations at the after Church refreshment bash - did have two strawberries though. I threw the few leftover sweets into the woods behind the Church for the enjoyment of the furry friends.

Lunch will be egg salad on celery and red pepper sticks and a glass of skim milk! I have some lovely asparagus and a pork tenderloin so I may grill outside. It'll be chilly but not at all like yesterday.

Just got home from church and enjoyed my Dunkin Donuts coffee while I was there. I learned how to make a homemade latte with. Y magic bullet, it was really yummy! Also definitely decided I like DaVinci syrup over Torini. The agenda for today is laundry, laundry, and more laundry!! As well as planning my menu for the week. Wish me luck!
My youngest looks at me with big blue eyes and says to me at dinner yesterday, "mom, when do we get to go back to your old life where we could eat whatever we wanted instead of no McDonald's!" Gotta love the kids!

Look at the time! Wowee. What a day! Slept in, had Wolfgang Puck's Creme Caramel (which I also approve of!) Then took Anna to the grocery stores and put it all away at home. Whipped up some broccoli slaw but omitted the jalapeno my recipe called for so Anna can tolerate it. Then made some Fiber One banana nut muffins she picked out at the store (substituted NSA applesauce for oil,) and tonight I'm making Paula Deen's mac n cheese - South Beach Style. Using whole wheat shells instead of regular, evaporated skim milk instead of heavy cream, light trans-fat-free margarine instead of butter, and 2% cheeses. It'll still be a smidge high in fat, but it's better than it was, and I have a hormonal 13 year old dying for some creamy goodness. ;)

Karen - I almost shot my drink out my nose. :lol3: Ahhh. Men.

Well, guess I'd better put the muffins away and wash the pan. Hope everyone had a wonderful weekend!

Good evening. :) It's been a busy weekend for me. I was on-call all weekend and had to go in Friday night. Then I had already been tagged to work the Air Show as the tactical dispatcher on Saturday, so after getting off at 0100 hrs Saturday morning I came home and got about 4 1/2 hours of sleep before heading off to the Air Show on the Air Force Base. Spent 9 hours out there enjoying the nice scenery provided by the military men walking about. :)

Today was my one day off and I actually got a call about 2 hours ago telling me I was needed to come in to work. By the time I got out of the shower I had a page telling me to cancel. So now here I sit in my pajamas relaxing. :)

Just love that military scenery. I was at the officers Mess at Old Fort Henry and those RMC cadets are pretty, darn cute in their red coats!
