good evening!

Karen - did you do the Pilates class today? do a double header? :D

Debbie - bet you're as ready to be on your bike as I am on my moto-bike :)

Ruth - nice you are enjoying your time with Linda!

Cyndi - It is fun to plan for the future garden, isn't it! Do you already have the mini greenhouse? Kewl that you are part of a CSA and enjoy it! And we are all hoping your DW's treatments are just what is needed  thanks for the good wishes from my clientele, no one made me want to throw them out today, lol.

MissusTaterHead, glad you had a nice, on-program lunch..and that your sister will join you in SB, that is great!!

Twynn - YAY to you for resisting the sweet stuff!!! Must have been hard..or maybe not, seeing you could look forward to the yummy hummus & veggies.

Smarkey - hope you had a good catch-up day at home.

Jenn - I'm sorry this was a reminder of a sad day for you

Today was my weigh-in day, a small loss of one pound to report, but I'm glad the scale number is DOWN and I hope it continues this trend : I haven't seen the 140-range for many years and this is exciting!!

Wakey! Wakey!

We are up, drinking coffee and socializing with the dogs. What are you chicks doing? Linda's watching the snow and loving it.

CyndiM 02-19-2012 09:10 AM

Good morning :coffee2: Is everyone sleeping in or are you all off doing fun things already? We always are up at the same time but some days there's just more to do before I sit down :)

Ruth & Cottage - Nice that Cottage is getting some of that Canadian snow she was looking forward to :)

Holly - Hope you have another good day. I am sure it's crazy busy up there all week.

smarkey - I really think a lot of gluten free products are just bad news. People think that gluten free is automatically healthy but the gluten is often replaced with a variety of simple starches and there's the usual sugar and other ingredients. Would love to see that blog if you find the link. I love Elena's Pantry because she doesn't resort to a lot of starchy filler ingredients.

Twynn- congratulations on navigating the obstacle course of sugar

Debbie - Ah, I remember you telling us about this before. Now I'm very jealous all over again :)

DW had a really good day yesterday and it looks like today will be the same. Now I have to remind her not to overdo it just because she can :) :crossed: hoping this works, she really wants to get back to work for 3/1 and we want to get back to something closer to normal.

Time to look at that list I made yesterday and crossed almost nothing off of :o Maybe get more done before and after today's game. Happy Sunday Beachers

Smarkey and Vermont, my mom is planning on doing it too--she has pre-diabetes so she's supposed to be following a low GI diet. We're planning on doing some meal sharing, which should be great, I tend to over-cook so I'll be glad to have something to do with all these leftovers! It really is great to have the support.

Vermont, congrats on breaking into the 140's!!! That's awesome. It's so exciting to break into a whole new set of numbers! lol That happened to me yesterday too.

Ruth you seem like you're in a good mood this morning! lol I wish we had a little of that snow down here. I don't love icy roads but this snow-less winter is just eerie.

Cyndi I thought you might be talking about a farm share! I am definitely doing that this year. Last year my mom and I planned on splitting a share; then she had to spend a lot of time out of town and it wasn't practical for her. This spring I'm absolutely doing it.

Have a lot of cleaning planned for today so I'd better start my procrastinating now. Have a great Sunday everyone!

Holly - congrats on the loss! awesome to see the scale move, huh?
Ruth and Linda - have fun in the snow! We're due to get ONLY an inch today
Cyndi - so happy for DW's good day! Hope there is another today and many more to come!

So, I saw a 4 pound loss on the scale yesterday! And, Maryland is set to pass a same-sex marriage bill. I don't usually do politics here so the ONLY reason why I mention it is that it MIGHT be yet ANOTHER wedding for us, lol. This will make #3!!! I am only about 15 pounds away from my wedding weight too :)

Also heard my BFF may have to postpone the wedding in Aruba set for October as her fiance lost his job :( Which is sad but good news since I may have to use some vacation time to account for the last 3 weeks off from work.

I am going to go eat breakfast and wait for the snow :) Happy Sunday y'all!

Good Morning Chickies,

Today the sun is shining, I had a busy Saturday, but got lots done.

Looking forward to a nice Sunday, going to church with a friend today, something that has been on my to do list for awhile.

Plan is going going good for me, it is like second nature, I love it.

Hope everyone has a enjoyable day, if the sun is out where you are, enjoy it.

Hi Everyone!

I've been up since the wee hours but kept moving from one thing to the next...my arm has been sore for a few days and typing makes it worse. It's a beautiful day and I went out and distributed bird food. Also tackled a freezer project and reboxed some canning jars. I really didn't feel like it but just finished 30 minutes on the recumbent bike. I think I'll clean up and read for awhile. I'm low on energy today even with my power smoothie.

Take care everyone!

Cyndi, glad to hear Julie is having a good day!

Jenne, I hope you are feeling better today.
