Saying no to temptation
 

A little something I came up with to give me strength against temptations (like the 5 dozen Oreo truffles currently in my freezer).

Resistance Prayer

Lord grant me the strength
to drink a glass of water instead of nibbling these things I should not have;
courage to say “No Thank You” to the Holiday treats abound;
and wisdom to know I am doing this for me.

Very touching! Thanks! It's so appropriate, especially this time of year. I just got home from a concert where the afterwards was zillions of cookies and hot cider. I didn't touch one and I'm so glad I didn't now!

LOL. just got my cream cheese and oreos, along with red & green choc. to make them this week, my friends love them! So, your prayer will come in handy!

I like it. Just say no. My friends and I try to motivate each other by seeing who can resist the longest haha :)
