I will start - first place I lose weight? MY FEET! I went from a size 9 shoe in July to a size 8 (got new shoes this weekend)!! It's the little things my friends...
  • Not to be all picky....but I think the dates are wrong for the title on this thread.
  • Met someone at Costco today that I haven't seen for a long time. She said - OMG you have lost a lot of weight. Needless to say there was no sampling, the compliment was enough.
    take care
    Sophie
  • I boxed up two boxes worth of size 24 jeans and pants last night!
  • Ooh....boxing up some "fat" clothes would be SO awesome!! Weigh to go Frenchgirl!! How exciting

Jenne - I love that you lost weight in your feet...he he....I have some shoes that no longer fit since gaining....and I can't wait for them to fit again...without cutting off my circulation!
  • I boxed up some 18 and larger clothes three weeks ago but have been semi-regretting it. Today I loaded them into my car and took them to the church in the next village where the Church is having are having a clothing rummage sale this weekend.

It feels good to be rid of that hesitation.
  • Wow Ruth...that's pretty big! Not only boxing them up...but giving them away!! eek!! When I lost a bunch of weight last year I got rid of all of my size 16 stuff. Then when I gained it all back I was regretting it, but I have REFUSED to purchase bigger clothes, instead being stuffed into my 14's...ugh...now that I'm back on track though, I'm glad I didn't go out and buy bigger clothes....again..... Can't wait to box up AND donate my 14's
  • It would be grand if we all didn't live so far away and one person's "fat" clothes could become another person's "transition" clothes. I've been pondering the idea of how I could make that work. I would love to give these to someone who needs them and get some short term clothes from someone else. I hate the idea of buying things that I don't plan to have to wear for very long.
  • I hear you French Girl!

I am just about fitting into 18s again! It's sooo pricey to buy new clothes. The good thing is that when you do get around to wearing a good fitting top, you get complimented!

Yesterday I journaled this in my online journal (off 3FC) and thought I'd share it with you. Picture and all:

Have you ever had one of those days where you felt cute? I mean, I had one of those days. And not only did I FEEL cute, people (three in fact, plus a bartender AND a TSA agent) *told* me I looked good today.

I had bought a size 3x shirt unknowingly that it was like TWEEN size and when I got it 2 months ago, I looked like a sausage. I hid it away, never to be seen again. Until today. I was going to travel, but still had to go into the office. On top of which, I was meeting one of my member execs for dinner too, about 30 minutes after I landed. So I wanted to go casual but without being too dress down. I threw on the too tight shirt, knowing it still felt too tight but not caring because I'd wear a sweatshirt over it. That and black jeans with sneaks would do.

Until I got to the office after a speed walk with a really heavy backpack and suitcase. I promptly stripped and got told how nice I looked.

Maybe 25 pounds was enough to not look like a fat pig anymore?

    WRONG!

Especially since I was all like, "Yay, in a hotel and feeling good - Time for a LJ picture post (since I STILL can't picture post directly - someone HELP?).

I took this ****ing picture 14 times, literally (and you all know how much I HATE even numbers), and couldn't stand to take another. Finally, I just picked the one that made me look the least like a landfill.

So I ask you, hot or not? Be brutally honest!!!!
  • Jenne- you look adorable in that picture! I'm the same height and I never looked that cute!

For my NSV- We have had food trucks at work, two days in a row. I skipped out both days. Now, this is even more impressive because I work with my mom and sister, who both eat lunch out everyday. And, I wasn't feeling well either. Getting back on track has been really difficult for me, so I am going to go ahead and celebrate my little victories
  • My husband looked at me this morning. I know that sounds weird but he actually really gave me a look and followed me with his eyes as I walked across the room. I had just got out of bed and was wearing a cami and yoga pants. He hasn't looked at me like that in a good while.
  • SouthLake - great job! Keep on resisting!

    YAY HYPNO!
  • Jenn, I like it! I think the neck line is pretty and it is flattering the way it nips in in the middle. I need to get away from boxy, myself. I'm learning that shape is better than no shape.
    I'm a two N Jenn, too!
  • Jenne...I LOVE that shirt! I've been wanting to get one like that. And it looks great on you!! Keep up the good work

SouthLake...I'm doing the same as you, trying to get back into the groove, so far so good. Looks like we're about the same weight...let's do this!!

hpnodat....so funny...my hubby has started "looking" at me too..ha ha I haven't even lost that much weight yet, I think it may be more from my attitude, I always feel more positive when I'm eating healthy and losing weigh...hhhmmmm....
  • Ladies these are all awesome NSV's! Jenne that outfit is cute!!!

My NSV is that I am 5 days into phase one and doing and feeling great about it! My pants already seem to be loosening up a bit in the waist (thank you de-bloating!).
