Hi all! I've been doing pretty well, with some minor bumps in the road husband/roommates begging me to make brownies, for example. I didn't eat any brownies, but I definitely licked the spoon a couple times.
As for working out, I'm realizing just how out of shape I've gotten- I can't finish the whole 25 minutes in C25K. I have to stop at around 20 minutes. I think I'll have to repeat week 1, just to get back used to going to workout and all. @Jenn, I hear you about getting up! I also use the morning to get all my school work done, so I've basically resigned myself to working out in the early evening. I don't have any kiddos, so it's not too hard for me to just go before dinner. |
Same here Lily - no kids. But I don't get home most nights until 7p or 8p and by then I need to eat before it's too late. Then who wants to work out after eating? It's almost bedtime!
I just need to make it a priority! |
I would like to get in on this late (better late than never!)
OP everyday and 300 minutes of exercise per week. W: OP + 90 mins roller skating T: OP + 120 min roller derby practice F: OP S: I had some cookies :( Totals: 3/4 days OP 210/300 minutes exercise |
This challenge with it's accountability has really helped me stay OP all week! I've been too busy to update my post but will do it NOW.

We're nearly at the end of our week- how did everyone do? I hung in there, with some small missteps. Things at work really hit the fan this week, and so I ended up eating out way more than I planned. I tried to make good choices though- at the hibachi place near us I got shrimp hibachi, no rice extra veg and at Quizno's I was getting the small salad small soup combo. I think I ate each of those meals at least twice this week though. When my stress level gets bad, I just want someone else to deal with my food.
I also managed to suck it up for 4 days of week one in C25K. I wasn't able to finish the whole 25 minutes as written until last night though, so I think I'll have to re-do week one. I've completed the whole thing twice, and both times fallen back into not running, so it's really hard for me to recognize my limits- I want to go as fast as I did before! But, I'm between 30-40lbs heavier than when I was running before, and it's taken me a while to accept that I can't run as fast or as long right now. Looking forward to next week's challenge, if we'll do one! |
I finished my first whole week! And honestly, this is the FIRST time I've ever completed a week on a diet without cheating even once!! I'm so proud of myself! And I lost 5.5 pounds, which is a huge deal for me. But not as huge as the fact that I didn't even cheat. Heheh I'm really proud of myself.:)
