Stay on Phase 1 longer?

  • Has anyone stayed on phase 1 longer than 2 weeks? It seems the last few days the scale is going up rather than down and I haven't cheat once. I feel great but jist curious if staying on phase 1 longer is advised. Thanks!!
  • the one time I did, I fell off the diet completely. as long as you are detoxed, you should move into 1.5 IMHO.
  • Ok so difference between 1.5 and 2 is? Jist limiting the grains?
  • if you do a search of the threads you will find a wealth of information on it but it's limiting fruit and grain servings for a few weeks to test what works best with your body and what your weight will react to versus going full force into Ph2 and chancing that you might gain a few pounds before you find your comfort level.

  • explain to him the purpose of Ph1 isn't continued loss (that will eventually stop too) it's to detox. Ph1.5/2 is for continued loss!

  • The research I did said that if you have a significant amount to lose, 100lbs or more, that you can stay on it for up to four weeks, which I plan on doing.
