I feel like I've been cleaning my house for a week straight but I still keep finding stuff to clean. Starting this Wed, I will be hosting a ongoing weekly study group at my house so I feel the need to get my house very clean for my guests. This is actually a good thing for me because I have a tendency to have clutter in various spots around the house so if I know people are going to be coming over every week I want it to look better. This might be the incentive I need to keep clutter down to a minimum.
My FIL gave me a bunch of beautiful slate rock and I'm going to use it to build a new flower bed around a purple plum tree that's in our front yard. Yay for more alternative types of exercise since I despise the traditional type. I'm planning on doing some yard cleanup too, so that will be more alternative exercise. I enjoy doing things like that because not only do I get my exercise in, I also accomplish something at the same time. Aunt Flo has made her visit and I feel so blah & bloated, I'm still at 244 so no gain is awesome but since I'm feeling bloated I hope to see a whoosh at the end of the week. I'm drinking lots of hot tea with lemon to help with my water retention. The most important thing is this is the first time that I can recall that I've had 0 cravings. I normally would completely bomb my diet with an all out binge during this time of month. I started taking Effexor XR a month ago so I think that is helping along with actually having a stable blood sugar thanks to SB. |
Well, I'm pretty proud of the decision I made! We're just getting ready to leave for the Twins game, and I looked up the stadium and saw that I can bring food. So...I made crispy turkey pepperoni, celery with laughing cow stuffed in it, a couple low fat cheese sticks, some sweet/spicy almonds I made and sf Werthers! Kinda weird appetizer type stuff, but I think it will be enough to keep me satisfied and I won't eat unknown things that likely have sugar!
I'm so excited and very proud of myself. HYPNO- way to go on no cravings! What a great feeling :) |
Great job, Angie! I am so much happier knowing what I'm eating these days...not to mention how expensive stuff is at the games
