Default Snacks for movies ?

Hello !
I'm going to the movies on Friday, and I know that all the theatre food has loads of carbs.
I'm in phase 1 right now.
what are some good snacks that I can bring ?
Preferably small ones that I can stash in my bag : )

, raeboo! Good movie snacks for Phase 1 on The Beach would be raw veggies (ei celery, cauliflower, broccoli, jicama), string cheese, and nuts.

I also vote for roasted chick peas! Got crunch like popcorn!

Welcome! Nuts are great for the savory snackers. Or you can make kale chips and sneak them in. Or the mushroom chips. Or pepperoni crisps. For the sweet tooth, you'd have to sneak in a NSA fudgesicle or some sugar free hard candies. There's a lot more available now than there used to be.

Once you hit phase 2, I recommend the Atkins chocolate coconut bars. You can find them next to the Balance Bars and Luna bars in the grocery store. They taste just like Almond Joy/Mounds, but are much better for you (high in fiber!). It makes me feel like I'm eating a real candy bar, which helps since my fiancee always loads up on the Reece's and Twix and Twizzlers... I don't feel deprived. Diet soda also helps with my movie time sweet tooth.

Thanks everyone for the suggestions!
Unlike a lot of other sites I've been to in the past, there are a lot of supportive and helpful people
I'm gonna bring some raw veggies in a little baggy and pick up some string cheese from a nearby grocery before I go : D
I forgot to mention I'm allergic to peanuts x)

and to lindsay, good luck to us ! : D
i know what you mean, popcorn always seemed to be the downfall of the other diets i tried ~
but this time, I'm really determined, hopefully I can give popcorn the hand :3
