Default I'm back!

Hi ladies. So I'm back after a 6 month hiatus. I lost 25 pounds from June to September and was doing great. I had plenty of cheat days, but as long as I stuck to Phase 2 and exercising, the pound or two I would gain came right back off.

Then sometime around October, I got really busy at work and stopped going to the gym. I went into a downward spiral after that. I still maintained my weight and eating ok, but by December, it all caught up to me as cheat days became almost every day. Then there was Valentine's Day candy and then Easter candy came out... through March, I caught myself eating whatever I wanted, whenever I wanted. I went through a 2 week eating binge in early March and decided enough was enough. I am now 8 pounds away from my original weight.

Today was phase 1, day 1! And it's hard. :-/ But I have a whole week of meals planned out and I am ready to go! I am thrilled to be back here to get ideas and support and I am looking forward to hanging out with you ladies again!

Welcome back Jewels. So many of us have been there! I'm also trying to refocus. I just have to remember that doing this is not that hard. It's not like I feel deprived all the time or anything. It just requires vigilance on my part. Getting sloppy is my downfall!! Posting every day helps.

Nice to "see" you again, Jewels. Good luck on your repeat journey - luck is fine but rely on skill and planning.

Matilda is right. Posting every day really helps, even on days when the scale has blipped the wrong way!

Welcome back! I'm another one to suggest that posting everyday helps, even when one is lacking the motivation to do so. Even during my lowest spots I find I have more on days than off when I keep my commitment to come here.

Best wishes!

So true and remember that it is so much harder climbing back up on the beach than just staying there in the first place.

I too am struggling right now but I'm bound determined not to give up.

Welcome back. Hope to see your posts often.
