The grocery store near my home doesn't stock my beloved Unsweetened Vanilla Almond Breeze, and I am having trouble finding another option. Every brand of soy, almond, or rice milk I looked at had "evaporated cane sugar" as the second ingredient! Anyone have any brands they can recommend? Preferably on the cheaper end?

No suggestions, but maybe you can order in bulk through Amazon or some site like that? Since Almond Milk when it comes in the bricks does not have to be refrigerated until opened that may be an option if you have room to store it.
