Although I was worried about my food budget when I first started SBD, it's turned out that we spend less on food now, too. I spend a little more on fresh veggies and fruit now but I'm buying much less meat, and pretty much no junkfood or processed/ready made food.
I used to have the bad habit of thinking I needed a snack 'for the ride' every time I was out running errands.
Now that I don't buy chips, Little Debbie snacks, soda, candybars etc. at the gas station and every store in town I'm saving cash that way, too.
