Sesame Seeds?
The other day one of my roomates was heading out the the store to pick up a few things, and I asked if she could pick me up some sunflower seeds for a recipe I wanted to try....
unfortunatly she came back with sesame seeds, and I am not sure what to do with them. I've already taken a look at the recipe section on the site, but the vast majority of them are 'asian-inspired cuisine' which I am not a big fan of. Any other (non-asian) suggestions of what I can do with these seeds? |
They are good toasted and sprinkled over roasted veggies and on salads. They give a pleasant, nutty flavor.

You can use them to make crusts for fish like tuna and salmon steaks, eg: http://www.epicurious.com/recipes/me...-SALAD-1247961
Yum! |
thanks for the ideas, definately going to try them... especially since I got a whole whack of them to use up!
