I'm new to the forums and wanted to say hello as I anticipate being here lots! I've read the book several times (as well scoped out a few other plans) and decided that this way of eating best suits me - I tend to be carb sensitive and really focusing on the healthy vs. unhealthy carbs has proved to work the best for me in the past!
I've been lurking here for a few weeks as I've done my research. I have a fridge full of yummy p1 options and I'm ready to go! I found the Kalyn's Kitchen blog and made the cilantro lime chili today and it was to die for! Since I plan to cozy up on this board, maybe I should introduce myself!

My name is Kara, I am a special education teacher and usually super stressed with my job. Stressed usually equals unhealthy eating for me - tend to be the emotional eater type. I work out 3-4 days per week - my husband and I have been working with RKC instructors (kettlebells!) since May and have seen so many changes with muscle definition, strength gains, etc. With our eating under control, I think we'll see even more results!
We live in Omaha, NE, have been married almost 2 years and are hoping to start a family soon - another reason to lose this weight now!I look forward to getting to know all of you here! Have a great Monday!
