Small Victories
I am feeling like celebrating small victories today! Sometimes the total goal seem SO far away, but I think that celebrating the little stuff makes it so much easier. Just as an FYI, I am halfway through the first week of phase II.
So here are my small victories today - I can tell I have more energy because I am not needing as much sleep. I am waking up raring to go instead of dragging myself out of bed. - I am down 8.8lbs, that is 12% of the way to my MAJOR May 2011 goal. Not bad in two weeks! :carrot: :carrot: :carrot: - With all the veggies, and yogurt, my often-tempermental stomach is happy. - I am wearing pants at work today that would not zip when I started SBD. - I am not feeling beholden to food anymore, and finally can tell when I am actually hungry and when I only think I am and will just end up grazing like a cow. I'd love to hear everyone else's small victories! |
hello, i'm not on SBD but wanted to chime in here!
my work pants are quite loose now! today i only had to undo the button (not the zipper) to go to the washroom... time to buy new clothes :) |
I don't crave bad carbs.
I wake up feeling refreshed. I feel better about myself. Note: I am rounding up on Phase I. I will add bananas on 9/18 'cause they are the only fruits we have in the house. Nuts with them should be quite tasty! |
i've lost 25 pounds since starting at my gym on july 1.
bringing the total to 50 lbs. since March. I bought a size 10! pants yesterday. and can button them (double!!) i felt my iliac crest muscles today...without having to smash my fat...much. my self-confidence is through the roof, which makes me a better person to be around. |

Congratulations chubbybunny and all of you for your accomplishments! I always notice a big difference in fluid retention, especially under eye bags less noticeable, when I'm eating on plan.

Sounds like a lot of victories to celebrate! Sounds like we're a bunch of lighter happier folks in loose pants!
