Bryers Carb Smart Bars on Phase 1?
 

Hi all..

Are the Breyers Carb Smart Fudge Bars allowed on Phase 1? They have 3 net carbs and 3 sugars? I was confused because salad dressings have to have less than 3 carbs so I didn't know if that applied to sweets! Thanks for your help!

Dressings have to have less than 3 grams of SUGAR per serving. I don't know about the carb count as it doesn't matter on this plan.

You would be better served posting the ingredients in the fudge bars. Most likely the sugars are milk sugars and ok. Also, remember that your sweet treat allowance is 75-100 calories per day. What are the calorie counts in those?

Here's the ingredients:
Nonfat Milk, Milkfat, Sorbitol, Whey Protein Concentrate, Cocoa (Processed With Alkali), Lactitol, Glycerine, Polydextrose, Cellulose Gel, Cellulose Gum, Mono- And Diglycerides, Malt Powder, Salt, Guar Gum, Xanthan Gum, Sucralose (Splenda® Brand), Acesulfame Potassium, Polysorbate 80, Carob Bean Gum, Artificial Flavor.

All the additive unpronounceables and "artificial flavor"...???
personally I wouldn't touch it.

It's scary what food "manufacturers" put in food. Mother nature knows what she's doing, so stick with her stuff...she's a clever girl.

thanks yall! The calorie count is 100 calories. I think I will stay away from this for now!
