End of day 2

It is the end of day 2 and the cravings are starting and my mind is wandering so posting here is better than going downstairs to the kitchen.

Can you have ricotta cheese as a snack at night (dessert)?

Thanks

I think so, as long as you have not gone over your dairy limit, does that sound right?

You can have anything you want at any time, as long as it fits into the plan. :)

Ricotta is not considered a dairy. I ate the ricotta dessert every night on Phase I. It was one of the things that kept me going!

Thanks, made it through day 2, going for a walk now.
What is the dairy limit?

I have also been having the 75 calories of SF allowed sweets every day (SF popsicles - 25 cals. each)

Do you have access to a book? If not, I would bookmark the Phase I & II food lists in the FAQ's. It's very helpful to refer to.

Thanks Anne

I do have the book but it is the original one which doesn't include alot of the new choices. I will bookmark what you suggested.

Glad you're sticking to it beth0811! IT's so worth it!
One day at a time and it will get easier!

I personally can't stand the ricotta. LOL. So I have a NSA fudgesicle every night. Now, I'm confused...1% milk is okay then? I printed off a food list off a website, and it says 1% milks is NOT okay. ??

zeffryn 07-26-2010 02:03 PM

on the latest approved food list, it says fat-free and 1% milk is ok.
