OMG!!! I have been staying away from weighing myself b/c I think that people tend to get wrapped up in the numbers and get discouraged while dieting. But today I had my follow up appointment w/ my doctor and they had to weigh me. I was SO worried the scale wouldn't show what I knew my waistline had been showing...but I was worried for nothing.
45 POUNDS!!! My doctor was so impressed that he actually said I have inspired him to try Southbeach again!!! 16 more pounds and he's going to lower my blood pressure meds. His goal for my BP was 140/90...today my BP was 122/70!!!
I am so frigging happy right now I can't stand myself. Thursday is my birthday and I am SO not even caring about not eating birthday cake this year. Whoooooo frigging hoooooooooooooooo!!!

I've been on South Beach since mid-April...so just a little over 2 months. I had actually already lost 13 pounds before, so we're looking at 32 from SB alone.

Seriously, this website has been a great inspiration for me. Looking at all the photos and the transformations...and hearing some of you say "If I can do it, anybody can!" has been a big help for me. I feel so much better about myself and I can't wait to keep going and keep losing. When I reach my goal weight my present to myself will be a 2 week trip to NYC where I can walk all I want w/o my feet killing me!!!
