I got a e-mail offering the new book for free and 28 days of recipes for about $10 + $5 s&h if I join the site. I'm wondering if it's worth it? I don't know what the cost is after the first month or the price but wondered if anyone here was a member?

Why pay good money for the very same information (and more!) you can get here for free?
And you can usually find the book at the library, or pick up a used one for a few dollars at a thrift shop or yardsale.

That's what I was thinking. I just ordered the book from Amazon for only $8 anyway (though I did splurge and get the new cookbook so I could get the free shipment).

I enjoy the cookbooks for reference. I joined the site years ago and admit this is much more fun!
