Default new to South Beach not dieting

Hi all Tina here. Long story lots to lose. Years of being lazy and loving food sums it up. This is a fairly easy plan so far though isn't it? I began on Monday but so far so good.
Had the most AMAZING roasted asparagus(mom's is getting ready to come up can't wait) with shish kabobs. They were so yummy.
Tonight will be a big test..DD has soccer so we'll have burgers and to see DH and the kids eat buns will be the first time I've been exposed to it. (I cannot tell you my love for bread!!)
Hope to get to know you all.

Hi Tina! I love bread too! I have not had any trouble skipping the burger buns though. The hot bread that comes from the oven and the rolls from the bakery and the like... those I struggle with. And the rest of my family still wants that stuff. Sorry for the food porn!

It's odd, I used to love bread. Now I could take it or leave it. I've been living with SBD principals for about four years now though. (That doesn't mean I've been on plan for four years however. ) Once a beacher, there's always a nagging voice in your head, I think. It's not a bad thing!

Welcome Tina! I agree, it is an easy plan. So many yummy options. I haven't had a problem giving up bread, the hardest part for me is sweets. I have given up sugar lots of times and my desire for them never quite goes away. But there are some really good dessert choices on SBD, so that makes it much easier.

Hi Tina!! to the Beach! I used to struggle with bread. Now I just don't care either way... Unless its some special, warm, fresh bread. Stay strong! We know you can do it!

to The Beach, Lisa! Come grab a beach towel and pull up a chair, and I'll order up a cabana boy to wait on you.

I hope you made it through your dinner without caving in to a bun! Try wrapping your burger in lettuce leaves, instead. It's good and actually pretty satisfying.
