I used to make a similar thing with eggs and canadian bacon and cheese just on my plate. Not as good but not bad either. Hot cross buns sound amazing. Today will be a tough day for many of you! We don't celebrate Easter. We did egg hunts (candy of course) when the boys were little since DH is not Jewish, but stopped years ago. His family does nothing and he is not very religious.

For those of you who do celebrate, have a very happy Easter.

Twynn- Maybe we need a new thread about exercise and eating too! My husband and I debate how it makes us feel and if we eat more or less.

Happy Easter, everyone, can I join you? I'm starting SBD again today, on phase 2. I'm 37, and was recently diagnosed as bipolar, and put on meds. They work well, and I feel like I'm more in control of my life, but they make weight loss very difficult. I've also got prediabetes. I've tried all kinds of diets, most recently high carb vegetarian. I think I need to change the way I eat, cut the huge amounts of fruits and simple starches I eat, and eat more protein. Previously, I've always started on phase 1 and it never stuck, it was too drastic. Although I'm all ready exercising vigorously 3 times a week, I know I have to step it up, my goal is to lose 25 pounds, and, I really don't care how long it takes, as long as it stays off. What else? I'm a blind jazz singer, I have a daughter, five cats, and 2 dogs who need to lose weight too. Thanks for letting me share, and it's nice to meet you all.

Sorry Ruth -- we make the Eggs benedict almost SBD friendly -- I'm sure the sauce has some no-no ingredients in the mix, but we use lactose free FF milk, ICBINB, WW english muffins canadian bacon and eggs with salt and pepper. I only use two tablespoons of sauce (one on each half). DW POURS the sauce on, it makes me sick to look at ;)
