I hope today lives up to its namesake, the past few days have been full of temptation and I haven't always been at my strongest. I need to make today a clean day and remember that it is one meal at a time.

Going to pick up a check for DH's books today. I can't believe one semester of books costs about $1500 - highway robbery! He didn't even use some of his books from last semester. If the teacher is going to require them to buy the books, they might have the decency to actually use them!

I can't believe that it's already 9:15!! We were up early this morning and I got to work early and I'm still behind! My boss doesn't monitor us very well, but I've made a personal commitment to be more productive at work. I'm hoping to be a good example to my girls and maybe they'll start working a little harder as well.

That being said, I'd better get busy! I hope everyone is having a nice day!!

I am having a much better day than I have had for ages. Other than misfiring nerves in my foot, I am mobile and I've managed to cook my little boy lunch rather than assembling some trashy stuff. I feel so much better for having done something. Also the forecast whiteout hasn't materialised yet, so I am hopeful that DH will make it home. (Especially as I bought him a present for taking such awesome care of me!!)

Quick run-by fruiting. Back at it today now that the celebrations are over and I have 11 days until Key West. Be kind.

So Chelby how was the day? :)

Hello chicks, it's been so long that I couldn't remember my password for a minute. I can relate to the work stress, things have been so stressful for me since everyone came back from their Christmas vacation. I just get up at 6, head straight for the computer and don't stop working until time to fix dinner. I leave for vacation Friday and I'm sure I will be leaving unresolved issues behind. I hope I can get my mind off of them while I'm away. DH leaves for the Phillipines next Thursday, so lots to do to get him ready to be away for so long. On top of it, both DDs are sick, fever, and all the bodily fluids stuff. I hope they are over it and nobody else gets it before Friday.

On brighter, less whiny news, I have a new grand-niece, Charlotte, born yesterday. I am a great aunt 5 times over now (prolific family)!

I am sorry not to do personals, but I've got to help DD with some math before bed. I have read you all though, and I miss you! After the 26th, I should be able to get back into my old, boring routine (fingers crossed). Either that or I will have a nervous breakdown and get a rest that way!
