They probably did the u/s because on the mammo a mass or something appeared - an u/s tells them whether the mass is solid or just a liquid cyst. From what you say it sounds like the u/s indicates it is a simple liquid cyst and they just want to follow up in 6 months to see if it is still there. If they had any doubts after the u/s they would have called you back for a needle biopsy. Been there and done that. Not to worry.

Thanks Ladies, I am trying not to worry. I never get sick so I guess this is freaking me out a little. I am sure I will feel better once I get into see my family dr. I am going to call the first of the week, I want to wait til he gets the results. I never have to wait to long to get in so that is not to bad. Wow got to dash and pick up dd she was off work 6 mins ago she is going to be calling.

I actually had a mammogram today, too. It wasn't as bad as I expected. A funny thing happened... A male tech walked me to the mammo room. I looked at him and said, "Surely, you aren't doing this test." He smiled and said that the female nurse would be with me in a minute. Wheeeewwww!!! I don't know that I could have a male doing my mammogram. :D

You Northern Chicks will not believe this... School has been canceled tomorrow and Friday. We are expecting one inch of snow! Seriously! :lol: Actually, the problem is we are getting an "Arctic Blast" with the snow, so they are expecting some nasty road conditions. Alabama folks aren't prepared for bad roads. Do we have salt for the roads??? I don't know! My office has closed for tomorrow. We are playing Friday by ear.
