V8 Juice

V8 juice contains both carrot and beet juice yet it is still allowed on Phase I? Are the quantities just that small so that it's acceptable?

I think that's why it's allowed, asphyxia63. The amount of carrot and beet juice per serving is minimal enough that it won't spike your blood sugar.

Thanks! I love V8 but the big picture of the carrots on the label made me think it wasn't okay! SO much better than plain old tomato juice!
