Smoothie on Phase I
Is there a smoothie recipe that is okay on Phase I?

I'm not sure is this is what you're looking for, but I really enjoyed this chocolate milkshake during phase 1.
I wasn't able to find chocolate extract so I used a squirt of Smucker's sugar free chocolate syrup. |
can you have yogurt? I can't remember and don't have the book handy.
If not, I like to put a crystal lite single with ice and some water in my magic bullet and have that - it's basically a slushie/slurpee, very refreshing, zero calories. |

I usually use FF plain yogurt, some protein powder (read the label very carefully to make sure it's safe for P1), some FF cottage cheese (which thickens it), and ice cubes, plus the flavoring. If you have time to do so, try putting some tea in an ice cube tray to freeze--that way, as the ice melts, it won't dilute the flavor. When I make smoothies in P2, I always using frozen fruit instead of ice so the flavor doesn't get diluted. :shrug: Enjoy! |
