Thanks everyone!
I just wanted to say thanks to all the people who were so encouraging this past week. I did get the book from the library, and I'm glad that you were all able to suppliment me w/ some good ideas. I am currently on day 1 of week 2, and I stepped on the scale last night and to my amazement.....
I lost 6 lbs! WHOA! I really didn't expect that number, but I'll take it! Now I'm a week in, and started eating a few more beans this past weekend. Do you feel really bloated after eating these? These are "good" carbs, right? good luck to everyone else! |
Beans are great carbs. Your body will get used to eating them. Make sure you add them gradually to your diet. Sometimes when I eat a lot of beans plus cauliflower, broccoli, etc. I get pretty "gassy" too. Congrats on the fantastic weight loss!
