Happy Monday everyone! :)
So far my day is off to a great start! I dropped my daughter off and made it home before my youngest came home. He just showed up an hour after I expected him. He spent the weekend with his dad. I tell ya, that kid hangs out more than I do. :lol: Breakfast was simple as I still had a few Vegetable Quiche Cup to Go left. Poured my tomato juice in a wine glass as if it was a Bloody Mary. :cheers: I haven't had a drop of alcohol in about 2 weeks. Yay me! :cp: Not much on my agenda today other than the usual: cleaning, laundry, cooking, kids. ;) My friend is coming over later to get my 1/2 of our hotel expenses for our Philly business trip. I'm also going to start packing the kids up for the time I'm away. My oldest is staying home now instead of going on his New York trip. He was supposed to be gone the same time as me but they decided to go the end of August instead. So that means I have to leave meals for him. He's old enough to cook and will probably eat out more than anything but just in case he's at the house, I'll be the SuperMom that I am and leave a pot of Whole Wheat Spaghetti or and/or another batch of the Vegetarian Tofu Chili that he likes. Sunshine, AKA SuperMom:wave: Ruby, welcome to P2. I get nervous sometimes, but I'm really careful and am enjoying it. Barb, I hope your vacation works out. PearlRose, your trip will be fun!! I always wish I was going somewhere, but I'm happy to stay home. Things got really busy really fast this morning. Our hospital had a patient in crisis who requested pet therapy. I got the go ahead to waive normal "bathing protocol" and Lexxiss and I were off. Rudi was already at the groomer getting beautified for his visit tomorrow so I shuffled dogs all day. Organic cherries are on sale at our grocery for $1.38/#. Guess what we're doing tonight. We now have almost 15#. Got too hungry this afternoon, but didn't go off the reservation, so I'm home drinking water after finishing my snack. Also checking in here. You all help me make healthy choices.
