Crafting Brain Challenge

  • What would you make as a Girl Scouts Christmas craft if you had on hand:
    tiny jingle bells
small red, green and white pompoms
    all colors of glitter
chenille stems - red, green, white, silver, and gold
    hot glue
    tacky glue
    ribbon

I have been staring at this pile of stuff for a while but no inspiration is coming. If I can come up with something that uses these things, then I don't have to go to the store!
  • Could you make wee reindeer with the pompoms, pipe cleaner legs, ribbons and bells for harness? Maybe you could venture outside for some twiggy bits for antlers?
  • what about snowmen with the white pompoms and then decorate them , use piper cleaners for arms. or make a wreath by cutting a cirlcle of paper and glueing the colored pompoms to it and then decorate with bells and ribbon.
  • How About "holiday" Wreath Friendship Bracelets. Twist the stems together and glue the assorted whatnot on them?
  • ko is along my line but I was thinking more of little wreaths to hang on a tree.
How about twisting the chennile stems and making candy canes to hang on the tree and tie a nice bow on them?

  • the girls could make necklaces out of the ribbon and have a jingle bell as a charm
  • Wow you ladies are amazing, but I had no doubts you would have some great ideas.
Thanks so much, DH and I will play around with some of these suggestions tonight.
