Gonnabe - I was going to ask if you wanted to be pregnant? Sounds like you do! Keeping my fingers crossed for you!
What you described is how I felt when I was prego with #1. And both times, my chest was super tender. I had read too that first thing in the morning is the best time to take it. If you can't wait, take it now, you can always repeat it in the morning! (with a different test of course) I am done... I think. But I have been having horrible baby fever lately!! Stay sane today! I remember those days of "what if" - hard not to hink about it! --- DH & I need a new mattress... BAD! Any suggestions?!? We have heard a lot about sleep number. DH doesn't want to spend the $ before Christmas. I don't see how we can wait. Neither one of us is sleeping anymore, waking up sore and cranky. |
Gonna - Please let us know how the pg test comes out...:good vibes: being sent your way, sister.
Cat - Congrats on you and DH's day to yourselves. Flat tires stink, but it's nice that you now get to spend the day together. Any plans? Too bad it's icky outside. :( Jen - you can borrow DS for awhile if you want to lose that baby fever. ;) He's snotting EVERYWHERE and I never thought trying to convince a two year old that they shouldn't wipe their nose on their hands would be so tough! - DH is coming home after class to bring DS and I out for lunch and then give us the car so we can go to the laundromat - not really the place I want to spend my day, but I'm running out of sheets! |
Thanks for the offer Zeff. I have a 3 yr old like that. And a 6yr old that likes to wipe his nose on his sleeve. So gross! I miss the newborn stage! But then they all grow up! :D
I am going to attempt some Christmas wrapping today. It is only 12/4, but for some reason I am feeling the stress of it all already! |
Ugh, I spoke too soon about seeing that light at the end of the tunnel! I have spent the last four hours trying to get our state licensing straightend out here at work. We sent all of our paperwork out Friday and they sent it back today stating everything was now being done online! Well the website is nothing but a nightmare! Boss got so mad he threw it all on my desk and said FIX IT!
Thank goodness there are no forbidden foods here or I would be elbow deep in them! Hope you all are having a great day! I am going to go try and get some real work done now! |
Hi Chicks we're home :) Everything went according to plan and the best news is - no more surgery needed! Thanks to everyone for the well wishes. You gals are the best :grouphug: The Wifi drove me nuts and taunted me again. I finally had the sense to give up on it (after more tries than I'm willing to admit)
Ruth - Your doggy is a celeb! I don't suppose the paper is online so we can read it?? Pacer - Sorry your day went haywire. Will you get to try again tomorrow? Beachgal - My ex always used meditating as a euphemism for napping ;) The only time I can slow my brain down that much is when I'm in the MRI machine - how weird is that?! Even during yoga I'm all over the place. If you find success with that podcast please share :) Heather - Sounds like a hectic day and a well deserved (and needed) dinner out. Hope the new place is good. Zeff - How are things going in potty land? Gonna :crossed: hope the news is good Cat  sounds like the day was an unexpected bonus Jens - No suggestions but will be checking them out myself. We've had a really great futon but I'm thinking about getting a real mattress this time. The day has not gone anything like plan because of the timing of things at the hospital. I still managed to do pretty well but overate when I came home and still need to exercise. I finally had a chance to go outside just as the rain started. Ah well, that's what DVDs are for. Speaking of podcasts been meaning to recommend one to all you nutrition buffs. I recently discovered and love the Nutrition Dive podcast. It's a short weekly podcast with really good and balanced nutrition info. I love my podcasts for the daily commute. Have a good evening everyone |
Cyndi - potty time decided to take a break when we both woke up this morning feeling more like crap than we did yesterday. I'll further attempt it when we're feeling better.
Glad DP doesn't have to undergo any more surgeries and that this one went well! Went for lunch at a great little deli. I needed some comfort soup. Afterwards, hit the laundromat and washed our comforters and sheets. They smell so good! I can't wait to sleep under them tonight! Butternut squash is in the microwave getting ready to be turned into soup. |
CYNDI, I'm so happy and relieved for both of you! :grouphug: That's wonderful news!
GONNABE, I'm keeping my fingers crossed for you! :crossed: I still had my period for the first two months I was pregnant with my son, although it was much lighter than usual. Keep us posted! |
I just wanted to say hello to those who may remember me....I said hello in a seperate but thought I would find you all and (some newbies to me) in this chat. I was on in July of 2007. You can see my hello post to catch up on some of the dirt. It sounds like you are all doing well and I am happy that Ruth has a new dog....I think bad stuff was happening when I was last here...I had a dog crisis myself this summer....anyway hello again and happy to be backwith you wonderful ladies.... - Suzyq
