Happy first day of fall everyone!

I hope everyone had a wonderful weekend! Especially our mods who got together to discuss how crazy we all are!

Me, I did absolutely nothing. I HAVE to get some things done today!

Kitty decided to sleep with me instead of in her basket. I was so tired I slept through most of her playing. She did wake me up when she attacked my hands and feet though.

I had filled out paperwork for the hospital to get the sliding fee schedule, and it came back with a full bill, so I have to call them on that! GGRRR. Not only is it expensive, but they sent me home saying "we don't know whats wrong with you."
HHMMM, is that why I still have sharp pains when walking?

Good Morning everyone, and Happy Monday!

I had an amazing weekend with Ruth, Laurie, and several other MODS! We laughed together, cried together, and even managed to get some shopping and sightseeing in. I'm sure dragging this morning!

Back to reality. The washer is chugging away already, and I have Mediterranean Chicken in the crockpot for supper tonight, so that's all taken care of. I'm not even going to mention what I ate over the weekend, but let's just say I'm following Phase 1 for a few days.

Thanks Linda! You said you have yours in crockpot? So instead of cooking on stove you just throw all raw foods in crockpot? I'm headed out shopping and am wanting to try this, have most of the ingredients already, just theed the chokes!

Thanks for your help! I'd rather throw it in crockpot all day! What is your preference between this and over stove?

I had a good weekend too...got a lot done that needed to be done. Looking forward to a good week including teaching a Johnny Appleseed unit. On friday we are having a "Johnny Appleseed fair" to kick off our walk for cancer in November. Should be fun for the kids. We are going to paint with apple cores etc.

I have a puppy licking shea butter off my legs...must be yummy stuff.

Good morning chicks, mmmm Mediterannean chicken, haven't made that in a while. DH's favorite. Loriann, I would brown the chicken breasts a little before putting them in the crock pot and then deglaze the pan with the vinegar and add that to the pot for best flavor, but it would probably still be good if you didn't. Also, I'd cook it on high for a while at the end with the lid off to thicken up the sauce a bit. Usually when I cook chicken in the crockpot I use skinless boneless thighs (which I know are not legal). The breasts seem to me to get kinda tough.

cat, here's to Johnny Appleseed! I have really been enjoying the fruits of his labor recently. Have a fun week.

Poor DS is unhappy with me. I got him up at regular time, and he's ready for school, only to realize they have a 2 hour late start today. I realized in time for DD, so she is sleeping in. He doesn't think this is fair. He's right. Welcome to life!

Ick Monday. The only thing I like about Mondays is that they are a fresh start for an on-plan and producive week.

Schmoodle- This things happen, we have to remember so much. LOL

As for me- I ended up going to Six Flags with everyone because a couple of friends ending up not being able to go so DH wanted me and DD2 to come along- atleast it was not a late night got home at 9 p.m. DS in the meantime his engine is making noises that are not good. Have to take in to see if it is worth repairing or not, if you know what I mean.... So he is back to catching rides with friends or riding school bus until we figure out what we are going to do. Life, what are you going to do.

Good Morning! Glad everyone had a nice weekend! I did too. The weather here in IL has been absolutely beautiful. Can't say that I accomplished much, but it was restful & relaxing.

Starting Week 2 of Phase 2 and holding my own. I dropped 2 lbs. last week which I would be happy continuing with for a nice steady loss.

Off to get a glance at the newspaper before heading to school.

I'm fluctuating up and down a pound but I honestly think the pound is muscle!
My brand new kitten woke me up at 4:50 this morning he's 5 months old and a nut.
I'm cutting my workouts in half for the moment for 2 reasons 1 I'm working longer hours and honestly can't get up at 4 am and make it happen
and with the fall coming my fibro is flaring and doing the full set makes me hurt

Morning girls! Quick fly by this morning. I'm way behind. Woke up thinking it was Friday.... sigh. Also, didn't even realize it was the first day of fall until I got on here, and Tom and I both woke up with sore throats. Fantastic.
