Nonfat Plain Yogurt

I bought a large container of nonfat plain yogurt and it has more sugar & carbs in it than I expected. I should have read the label, but assume that all nonfat plain yogurt is the same. I am on Phase 2 and I am thinking a little in a smoothie will be okay.

Are you saying it has added sugar or are you confusing the natural milk sugars? All yogurt has those.

Read the ingredients to look for sugar, not the nutrition data that just shows carbs. As the previous poster said, the lactose is natural milk carbs.

No sugars added. I guess it is natural sugars, but I was just surprised that the number was higher than I expected on the label. I have been trying to stay completely OP and everything else I have been eating has had very low sugars.

Thanks!

MILK LACTOSE is milk sugar and it's the natural sugars in milk.... it's the good stuff....
