Loriann, that dude sounds icky. You deserve way better than someone so creepy and lame. He probably smells (ick!) and collects eyes in a jar. Press the ignore button!!

Do you have a bath and body works nearby? They're too pricey for my budget at the moment but I adore them. My friend gave me some exotic coconut shower gel from there because she claims to be allergic to it. It smells so divine. Plus Bath and body works has stuff that smells like pumpkin pie, cinnamon buns, candy, and all sorts of stuff. I like to collect food smelling candles too, you can find decently priced ones at Walmart.

I've even seen steelcut oatmeal in the freezer section, but it's really expensive. The cheapest i've seen it is at Trader Joes, but I've also found it in the grocery store, in the health food isle.

Question: Where is the special K protien water powders in the grocery store? I fear mine doesn't stock them, and I was curious. I want to try the pink lemonade! I looked in the powdered drink section and the health section.

P.S. I don't know how anyone on a healthy eating plan can stand to have food scents around: Pumpkin pie? I'd want to eat the candle. Cinammon? Where's the bun? I'd say stick with the lavendar and jasmine... safer that way- then I won't start licking my arm, or eating excess wax, which, really, is probably not on plan. It's hard enough avoiding the siren call of sugar.

I read somewhere that pumpkin pie scent turns men on! Wait, no, I saw that on The Tyra Banks Show. She comes up with some crazy stuff.

I have seen the special k protein water stuff in Walmart. In my regular grocery store, Food Lion, I have seen it during the ensure and etc aisle, I think..

I just have to say that the apple pear sauce is divine.

The entire batch is almost gone already....DS and I are sitting with the bowl and two spoons.

Too Cute!!!

I found some Steelcut oatmeal in the health food section of my local grocery store this afternoon. DANG, that stuff is expensive compared to regular rolled oatmeal!

I found the Special K protein waters at Super Wal-Mart. I found it in 2 spots, in a health food isle with nutrition bars, etc. I also found it again where they have Crystal Light, Koolaid, etc. Thanks for reminding me that I bought it! I could use it right now.

Has anyone tried the Splenda with fiber? Good/Bad?

GONNABE165 09-12-2008 04:01 PM

Jenski i buy the splenda with fiber - i mix it up with the regular kind

uscarchie 09-12-2008 04:32 PM

Splenda with fiber is great! However, I can't find it here in So. Cal. My mom sent it to me from Idaho.

The Spinach, Rice, and Feta Pie was AWESOME! Even Tommy liked it! Whew. Thought I'd share. I'll post in Ph2 Entrees.

Hi. I'm kind of new to SBD, day 3 of P1 for the first time, so far so good.

I also live in southern LA, and woke up this morning to find my car winshield completely smashed in, courtesy of the outer bands of hurricane Ike! My kids basketball goal fell into my car with a wind gust at some point through the night. Needless to say, it is not covered on my insurance policy!

I have family members also in Houston. My grandmother evacuated and is actually still there from Hurricane Gustov. She lived in an area that was really affected by the last storm, and she wasn't able to get home yet because of the extensive damage. My thoughts are with everyone in the path of this storm. Stay safe!

TK, hope you are ok. Really worried about you staying in Houston for this one! It won't be fun.

RNMom..where are you? I'm in Hammond, but grew up in N.O.

Not too far. I live in LaPlace. I moved here from Kenner after Katrina. I actually grew up in Houma, which is where most of my family still lives. I tell you, it's a mess. I know you understand!

These winds are definately gusty over here!!!
