Zeff – that is so sad about the beef. We lost a freezer full of wild game meat (Elk and venison) a couple of years ago and it just made me want to sit down and cry.

Gonnabe – what a cute idea for an aviator.

Jessie – I would not have been able to resist that little outfit either. Just adorable.

Cottage – I started my day with Cinnamon coffee too. My second cup this afternoon was double dutch chocolate. Mmmmmm

Ruth – how is Hershey handling the meds they have her on?

Cat – those puppies must be right at the cutest age. How fun. I always keep my dogs spayed/neutered. Just don’t trust myself, if I ever had a litter I would never be able to part with any of them. As it is out house has a tendency of getting over populated. You should see how the back yard is segregated right now to give the baby quail a place to come and feed. We have, Mom, Dad and the kids, Mr. & Mrs. (they don’t appear to have chicks) and now all of a sudden we have a new little family with 3 more juvenile chicks. I don’t know what to call them all my names are taken. Loads of fun.

Weezle – I learned years ago I couldn’t/didn’t like managing people so I’ve avoided it as much as possible. I prefer being the support person, making the magic happen in the back ground.

Me: Actually have had a couple of fun things happen this week. First: Ended up with an extra Gourmet Sandwich delivered for a business luncheon I was coordinating. Great, they screwed up and didn’t send my boss’ boss sandwich. It would have been so much better if it were my bosses but nooooooo, couldn’t be his. Anyway, the meeting was behind schedule so I had time to fix the error but I ended up with an extra prime rib sandwich. Oh buddy, I was thinking about just indulging this once when I saw a friend walking down the hall. I asked him if he liked prime rib, why yes!!! So I pawned the sandwich off on him. I could have picked the meat out of it but I knew I wouldn’t, the thing I was thinking about the most was the wonderful bread so I was able to get rid of it really fast.

Second: My SIL is in the military, stationed in Iraq. He’ll be coming home in October, my daughter is thrilled to say the least. BUT he has new orders to report for duty to a different Ft. in April. Now here is where it really gets good … … … They will be within a 4 ½ hour drive of my house!!! My DD isn’t to thrilled about it, she really hates living in the desert, really loves the 4 seasons in NY but my granddaughter is as excited as I am. I really feel bad for my daughter, she will have to leave a job that she just loves but I’m having a hard time convincing how bad I feel when I keep giggling.

Never made it back here for a proper read so no comments. My darling Hershey is getting back to being her old self. She had her head in the fridge tonight when I was grubbing around for green beans - normal behaviour for her!
