Starting out

  • I need to eat better and lose about 10 pounds. I get weak if I dont eat enough protein. Has anyone just done the phase 2 and lost? I have tried the phase 1 and it makes me very weak. I may end up doing it I just cant this week with family coming. I can stick more easily to phase 2 and cut back on my carbs. Has anyone done this?
  • You get weak without enough protein? Or carbs? If protein was the problem, I'm not sure why you would be getting so weak on P1.

    The book says that if you have a small amount of weight to lose, it is fine to start with P2 as long as you don't have cravings for refined sugars or flours.
  • My one suggestion would be to only have 1 fruit or carb a day in hopes of weaning you off the sugar cravings.....give it a go.
