and it seemed to emphasis about adding exercise as a way to overcome weight lose plateau's.
If you remember originally he did not mention anything about exercise and he was "scolded" by different groups to include that as part of his healthy eating plan.
I honestly can't imagine what foods he would be adding in at this time. The reason why he added in milk from the first edition was that new scientific evidence came out that additional calcium aids in weight lose, not to mention the need of women specifically needing more calcium. And, he lifted the restrictions on tomatoes probably because for some people it can be a vegetable that is irritating to their systems; ie, people with gout or arthritis. As he has said before, as there is new scientific evidence regarding health and eating for your health, he reviews how he can incorporate that into this food plan---which is for life.
Again, remember this is a diet that was developed for his cardiac patients who were also diabetic. If you keep that in mind then you can figure out on your own what you should and shouldn't be eating (which will result in "normal" blood chemistries) then you are on the right track. Again, this was his original goal for his patients to begin with. The weight lose was just an added bonus to healthy hearts, livers and pancreas.
