I'm at school on my break, so no time for personals if I want to have time for my snack!!

It is a gorgeous day here and is supposed to be a gorgeous weekend too, so I'm hoping to start playing in my gardens and want to get my roses pruned and cut back all the dead banana stalks etc that froze. It's the kind of weather that makes me really look forward to spring!

Hi everyone happy Friday hope you have a good weekend!

Good afternoon chicks a quickie for me, house is clean, dishes are done and I need to hit the shower. A long time family friends mother passed away and we have to go to our home town and hour away to the wake tonight, the only visitition is this afternoon and tonight, DH and I have know the family and grew up with her kids for 35 years. So strange to think of her gone. Then I need to take my sweet dd to the clinic tomorrow as she has a sore throat, and a cold poor thing. I am feeling crappy myself, yesterday and today is the worst TOM for me, I could not even leave my house last night. I hate that. Well enough complaining I really have to dash and grab a shower and get my clothes ready so we can leave when dh gets home from work. I will pop in tomorrow. Have a great night chicks.

Went shopping during lunch hour at Ross, which I dont do very often. tried on a million shirts-all medium! no large needed. I found a cute black Tshirt and a black and white knit babydoll shirt for the Cancun disco. It was shocking to see that roll of chub on my back-WHERE did that come from? but motivating-I am gonna rid of that and soon!!! How did I go from 120 to 160 in just 10 years after meeting husband? Yeah I say we blame them!!!;) I turn 50 July 23rd and I will be close to goal. You ARE not throwing me out of this boat!!!!

LOL At my grocery store. There is a japanese booth there and they serve brown rice ones now.

Tammie: All I eat are brown rice california rolls. The ones from HEB are the best, in my opinion. Sushi is one of the things I miss most about civilization! If they don't cause cravings for you, I think they'd be fine. I just have to watch my serving sizes, though. I try to only eat 3 a day when I'm back home and count that as one of my servings of grains.

Hey all! Boy, it's a lot easier to get into the chat when I'm on Korea time! I just can't find a sec to get on the computer in the morning. I guess my promise of personals will have to wait for the weekend...

I think I'm about adjusted time-wise. Connor and Kadyn are another story. After coming into my room this morning at two and being sent back to bed, I saw their light was on and heard them running around until five. That's when they came back in my room, hoping I'd make them breakfast. I sent them back to bed with specific instructions to get IN their beds with the light OFF, which they did. They slept until about nine and are happy little campers now.

I'm pleased to announce I've been very good and have stayed on my little New Jersey plan since we arrived home. Yay! Tomorrow we're having lunch AND dinner at my grandparents' house so that will be a nice break from cooking. She always makes mucho vegetables for me - yum!

I got some grocery shopping done yesterday. I spent two hours in the Shop Rite! There are so many more options here!!! We've got all kinds of veggies in the fridge and I'm trying to decide whether to do a roasted eggplant and zucchini or artichokes with wild mushrooms for dinner. It'll be good either way. My brother promised to have Connor over after he gets back from school, so I'm going to ask my mom if she'll watch the girls for me while I go for a run this afternoon. I was supposed to do three miles yesterday but by the time I got the kids to bed I was so tired my eyes were literally rolling back in my head and I was swaying on my feet, so I thought I'd better be safe and head to bed myself.

Gotta get something in my belly. It's rumbling!

Kim, I get them from HEB. I have to admit I will really miss HEB when we move.

well, we just cleaned out the kennel and found out the two smallest puppies have cleft lip and talked to the vet and they said they won't survive. There's almost no survival in puppies with cleft lip. I'm heartbroken now. They are so cute. Laydee is allowing me to touch and pick up her puppies in her view. But that'll mean two more gone. I don't want to give up on them but the vet said that there's nothing that can be done to save them. They don't do surgery on them, they just don't survive. I am just so sad for them. I love my puppies.

OHH TK I am sorry. Poor babies.
