Question Rinsing my beans

Morning!

I cannot always purchase frozen beans (pintos, great northern, etc.). So when I do buy canned, I buy organic and I rinse the beans in a colander under cold water. It washes off all the preservatives and additives and makes me feel better about using beans in a can.

I haven't found any beans with under 2 grams of sugar per serving. Does anyone have any suggestions of a brand that does?

I do however purchase only frozen and fresh vegetables and organic meats.

The sugars (unless sugar in some form or other is listed as an ingredient) are naturally occurring, and it wouldn't be a "brand" issue, they're just part of the bean. You couldn't find a "sugar free" banana, carrot, or beet for example, and I don't think there is a sugar free bean either, as I checked my cupboard, and even green beans have 2 grams of sugars per serving (though the overall carbohydrate count is lower).
