Spacing Meals/Snacks
How far apart should I plan my meals and snacks? If I go by when I am hungry, I would only eat 1-2 times a day. Please help! :)

The guidelines is every two - three hours, so your blood sugar won't dropped, and so you won't become more hungry and be ready to eat anything in sight. I follow the food plan : breakfast, 2-3 later snack, lunch, snack, dinner, and snack and I am done for the day!

I eat every 2-3 hours it helps you not overeat and stay in control

this is my general schedule. While its not ideal, it does fit into my schedule day. (I'm a teacher.)
6:30ish - breakfast 10:00 - snack 11:50 - Lunch 2:30 - snack 5:30ish - dinner 8:00 - herbal tea |

8:30 Breakfast 10:30 Snack 1:00 Lunch 3:00 Snack 5:30 Dinner 8:30 Snack/Dessert 11:00 Try to be in bed by this time! That's a lot of eating but I did pretty good today getting it all in. I think I will have to start going to bed earlier to fit my eating schedule. |
