Hi all! I am writing to confess...i started phase 1 on monday and didn't cheat at all until thursday night-I had some wine that was in my fridge (hard day at work) and went to bed. When I woke up the cravings were HORRIBLE! All I could think about were Mcd's FF and pizza. I gave in to my cravings a liitle on friday, and that led into saturday! So, now here I am on sunday afraid to weigh myself and see the damage I've done with my lack of willpower! I'm really upset with myself because I was doing so well ! I was down 7lbs!!! I guess I have to start phase one all over...another 2 weeks. I need some support and encouragement. I didn't realize how bad the cravings return when you cheat! Do you folks ever get weak and cheat? What do you do to help with the cravings? Any advice/suggestions will be appreciated-I am determined not to fall off the beach again! Also, where can i get one of these cute weight loss tickers you all have? I want one too! Thanks!...nicole
Hi nicole, no need for shame, everyone goes off plan a little every now and then, I think. At least I know I do! Look at it this way, you learned that wine is a real trigger for you so now you know you can't indulge that way anymore. This whole process is a real learning experience. I do think a strict Phase I is important, but I don't know if another two weeks is necessary. You still have a week of Phase I left, so get back on plan and see how you are feeling at the end of next week. If you are then you may want to extend it a little.
If you want a weight loss ticker, click on User CP at the top of the page and then on the left side of the page, under Control Panel, click on Edit Signature. On the signature page, you can put whatever you want in there, and there's a link to click to go and make the trackers. Then you copy and paste the tracker code into your signature.
Thanks for your help and encouragement. I feel better today (mentally) my cravings aren't bad at all. I am back on track!
