DH is feeling better and is out selling popcorn with Brian. He's wearing sunscreen for once since both antibiotics make him more likely to burn. I saw him testing his sugar and asked him what the hospital said about that. Apparently his glucose was twice what it should have been last night. That and the high blood pressure were why they wanted him to stay. He did at least move his Dr Pepper out to the garage fridge and put Diet inside but I really think he needs to see a doctor regularly and get his glucose and blood pressure controlled through meds until he loses the weight when he might be able to get off them. He seems reluctant but I have been trying to emphasize that he wants to be there to see Brian grow up. We'll just have to wait and see what happens. He would do much better if he would stick strictly to South Beach but he is always buying extra stuff that is unhealthy.

Barb, keep on harping at your DH til he gets himself back to the DR. for regular checkups! Tell him to do it for Brian, or better yet, have Brian talk to him about wanting him to be there for him. Sometimes a guilt trip is the best motivator. We've been after Jake to quit smoking for years, finally my oldest GD sat down and talked and cried with him, and that's what it took. ;)

i had a good thursday today - i made the pizza casserole since i have been craving pizza. i cut down on some of the ground stuff and added turkey pepperoni and some garlic (Since i am a garlic fiend)...

it was soooo good!

and dh is excited about the chicken masala recipe that was posted by elusivekoolaid...

are there any other indian recipes? he likes chicken vindaloo, and i like butter chicken and chili chicken....hmmm....my own personal food porn.

i also had a NSV victory today...i have been on SB faithfully for 21 days...this is a record for me...and it was has been way too easy...:)
