greek yoghurt?
Hi all,
I must be using an old copy of the book, as it doesn't mention half the stuff the updated list does! Is 0% fat Greek yoghurt (brand name Total) okay on P1? I see there's now limits on dairy. |
dairy is fine in phase 1 in fact 2 cups a day of low fat milk or plain yogurt is recommended....
in phase 2 you can have 2-3 cups. i have milk in my oatmeal but i love my afternoon cup of greek yogurt in phase 1 i had it with sf syrup and nuts now i have it with sf syrup and fruit.... |
Fantastic. I just can't face 2 weeks of eggs! No honey til P2 is a pain, love it with Greek yoghurt. But then again, that's how I got to this weight!

Hmm, yoghurt & bacon anyone.......
|
Cottage cheese is a good protein. You can make a nice shake with it, skim milk and some sf syrup or good old vanilla and Splenda. I even throw in egg white to up the protein.

I've just printed out a couple of the pancake recipes from the recipe section, going to give them a go. Not a big fan of ricotta, so hopefuly it'll work! I'm not bored yet, but I want to make sure I don't get that way.
