Does anybody have this book?

The South Beach Diet Quick and Easy Cookbook: 200 Delicious Recipes Ready in 30 Minutes or Less

Are the recipes complicated, are there alot of ingredients involved?

Thanks!

I have it and the recipes are fairly simple, IMHO, but I've been cooking for over 50 years!
Lost of the recipes are already in our Recipe Section.

I got it at the library and I've been using it for the past couple weeks. I wouldn't buy it, just because the bulk of the recipes have meat and I don't eat or prepare meat, but the recipes I have tried and liked have been very good. I don't know if I have actually made the thirty minute "deadline" just because I have gone back and forth between the recipe and cooking, you know, but I'm sure once I have them under my belt, per se, they would be a lot quicker to make. I cook and bake on a regular basis and they haven't been difficult at all for me. Some of the breakfast recipes are quite simple. I've found the directions to be very clear.

Hope that helps!

Kara

I love the quick and easy cookbook (I love all the SB cookbooks). Most of the recipes are very easy and there is a good variety of ingredients. I don't think there is anything too complicated.

I have it and like a lot of the recipes. Some take a lot of ingredients but none of them are difficult.

I don't own the book but have made a few recipes from it. The recipes are very easy. But then again I made my first lasagna when I was 8 so I think I'm a pretty seasoned cook. I, personally, think that there are so many recipes online you don't really need any SB cookbook. I found it very easy to modify recipes I use frequently to coincide with SB. You could try that too. If you want something easy and fast, it's easier to stick with what you know and change it up.
