It's still dark here in Texas. I had to get up at 4:45AM this morning to do maintenance with a teammate. It's always more fun with someone else. We are done now and waiting for the customer to come on and test in a minute or two. I wish I could go back to bed after that but this is Brian's last Sunday school class today so I can't go back to sleep.
It felt good making it to Powerflex class on Saturday morning. I don't seem to be sore this morning which is great. It will be a busy day. I need to make a grocery list, take Brian to Sunday school and mass and then I have a troop guide meeting/dinner this afternoon that will probably last 4 hours. |
Morning Gals
KIKO: you do have two gems -just AdooorABULLL!!!!! I know exactly how you feel.. disgusted, frustrated..I'm struggling too. Jett: Good luck with the lawn maintenance hunt Amasam: If this is the first time you've experienced skipping - I'd get it checked :( .. Our bodies change and maybe it is a reaction to the stress you seem to be under these days. I hope its just an anomoly. Kim: I'm outta the loop! You're buying a new house? Congrats! How exxxxciting! Ruth: OY! Snow!!!! We had 80 degrees here yesterday...I know I know ... shut up Schatzi! Stinger: You are so right about Curvy girl suits! I've had luck with Landsend .. I love their Tankini's it covers all sins and still looks a bit sporty. I did get one from Lane Bryant a few years back. It looked so cute in the catalog but I looked like some bad Doris Day knockoff in it. it was one piece with a flair skirtty thing. The top portion was a black and white gingham check with a psuedo belt thingy under the bust. Oh DEAR Just give me a beehive hairdo and I'd be set! Cottage: Sounds like a mellow day planned.. Good for you! Pearlrose: oooh a mini vacay to Florider! How loverly! Your smart to prepare some foods for it.. It'll make temptation a little easier to keep at bay. Dh and I went to an Italian restaurant last night. I had Chicken Francais. so not to bad.. Then we decided to take in a movie and ended up seeing 300. The CGI left me a little bleh, but it was well done . pretty much historically accurate. Today DH and I will take a ride down to look at houses... Some of you may remember we were looking at land and put a bid in. We then went out with our Architect to stake the house footprint and id the perc site back in January. The developer dragged his feet.Never communicated with us.. and then near 2 months later sends us a note saying he hasnt done the Perc test yet... So Dh has lost trust in the guy and with the real estate landscape changing it seems more advantageous for us to wait awhile. More Chicken on the menu tonight. Either Cola chicken or parmesean. Have a Happy Day! :flow2: |
Mornin' All -
Please tell me caw-fee is on...I need a jump start! I had a good day yesterday. I spent the morning at the Family Farmed Expo. A bunch of local veggie growers, cheese makers, wine makers and wool makers. It was so much fun...I drank wine at 10:30 in the morning! I also tried some very dark chocolate (I think it was 71% cacao) I like dark chocolate, but man was it bitter. Then I walked around downtown a took pictures for an hour or two. Today I have dishes, laundry (7 loads...yikes!!), grocery shopping, and cooking. I'm not cooking too much for the week today...probably just a meatloaf. Well, I need to get this wagon train a movin'... Have a great day everyone. I'm sure I'll pop back in later on. |
