Ranch Dressing

  • Ranch Dressing

    1/2 cup heavy cream
    1/2 cup water
    1 cup mayonnaise
    1 tablespoon whie wine vinegar
    2 tablespoons finely chopped chives
    1/2 teaspoon onion powder
    1 clove garlic, pressed
    2 tablespoons fresh cilantro or parsley
    1/2 teaspoon dried basil or 1 teaspoons fresh
    1 teaspoon celery seed
    1/2 teaspoon paprika
    1/2 teaspoon black pepper
    1 dash cayenne pepper (to taste - I like lots)
    1/2 teaspoon salt (or more to taste)

    Mix everything well and refrigerate for 4 hours before using to let the flavors mix. Makes about 2 1/4 cups.
